CALL FOR PAPERS
The wide and increasing needs of flexible solutions for environmental, energy, and structural monitoring systems point out the importance of using design methodologies and implementation technologies with high ability of adaptation and evolution. This workshop aims to present and discuss the various technological, methodological and application aspects of complex monitoring systems in the various application areas mentioned above.
Papers are solicited on all aspects of environmental, energy, and structural monitoring systems and the related applications, from the points of view of both theory and practice, including the following topics:
Sensors and instrumentation for monitoring systems | Environmental monitoring |
Signal and image processing for monitoring systems | Water monitoring systems |
Intelligent monitoring systems | Air monitoring systems |
Software infrastructure for monitoring systems | Pollution monitoring |
Wide-area monitoring | Agricultural and forest monitoring |
Communications in monitoring systems | Energy and electrical power systems monitoring |
Security and privacy in monitoring systems | Energy distribution monitoring |
Fault tolerance, dependability and resilience in monitoring systems | Oil/gas pipeline monitoring |
Quality of service in monitoring systems | Structural monitoring |
Safety in monitoring systems | Critical infrastructures monitoring |
Standards for monitoring systems | Transportation systems monitoring |
Management and operation of monitoring systems | Monitoring for sustainable environments |
Engineering education in monitoring systems | Ethic issues in environmental and energy monitoring |
